摘要
A high efficient red phosphor has been demonstrated to fabricate by doping halogens in the BaMoO4: Pr3+ phosphor system. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) powder, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), photoluminescence (PL) emission, and photoluminescence excitation (PLE). It has been found that halogen in the BaMoO4: Pr3+ phosphor system can influence significantly the intensity of the red emission under 430-500 nm excitation. The possible mechanisms refer to charge compensation. (C) 2009 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
