New physics contributions in B → πτ(ν)over-bar and B → τ(ν)over-bar

摘要
We study possible new physics contributions in B -> pi tau(nu) over bar and B -> tau(nu) over bar employing the model-independent effective Lagrangian that describes the quark-level transition b -> pi tau(nu) over bar at low energies. The decay rate of B -> pi tau(nu) over bar and its theoretical uncertainty are evaluated using the B -> pi form factors given by recent lattice QCD studies. Comparing theoretical results with the current experimental data, B(B -> pi tau(nu) over bar) < 2.5x10(-4) and B(B -> tau<(nu)over bar>(tau)) = (1.14 +/- 0.22) x 10(-4), we obtain constraints on the Wilson coefficients that quantify potential new physics. We also present the expected sensitivity of the SuperKEKB/Belle II experiment.
