摘要
Spanish flu (1918-1919) caused more than 20 million victims throughout the world... more than the First World War. Despite this, for several months, the French press remained silent. Certainly, flu is less frightening than cholera or plague, and in 1918 the press had other priorities. It was only in October 1918 that articles began to appear, and now on a daily basis, providing medical advice and statistics regarding the victims.
