摘要：

Best vitelliform macular dystrophy (BVMD) is an autosomal dominant hereditary disease characterized by an egg yolk-like lesion that pathologically is a collection of lipofuscin beneath the pigment epithelium of the retinal macula.(1,2) Visual prognosis in this disease appears to be relatively good, but vision gradually deteriorates over several decades.(2) Therapeutic approaches have not been established, except for laser photocoagulation treatment of late-onset choroidal neovascularization. We report a case of cystoid macular edema (CME) associated with BVMD that was effectively treated with oral acetazolamide.
