摘要
The advantage and applications of luminescent optical sensors are discussed. Luminescent biosensors can be fabricated if a recognition element of biological origin can be coupled to the indicator dye. The biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) of waters, a measurement of the organic matter contents, can be monitored on line with optosensors based on bacteria co-immobilized with an oxygen-senistive photoluminescent dye. A fully synthetic receptors, called molecularly imprinted polymers are introduced for chemical recognition in luminescent sensing.
