摘要
In general, the latent heat of vaporization of a liquid is a large value which makes it ideal for use in the cooling purpose. The main goal of this work is to show that the average heat flux liberated from the hot surface at a given surface temperature to a stream of mono-dispersed droplets can be interpreted in many different ways; thus, a special care should be taken to identify each cases. The experimental temperature ranged from 50 to 140 degrees C. Water, ethanol and water/ethanol mixtures were selected as the working liquids. Copyright (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
