摘要
In this paper the concept of refutable robotics research is exposed and discussed. Whatever you consider robotics as an engineering branch or the science of physical intelligent agents, there is a clear need to develop improved benchmarking procedures and to be able to reproduce successful 'experiments'. This raises some methodological and epistemological issues. The term 'experiment' itself it is not widely used in robotics. We will review the state of the art on replication of experiments and benchmarking in robotics and we argument why robotics research results should be 'falsifiable'
