Analysis and design of a induction generator with a superconducting bulk magnet rotor

摘要
A superconducting induction generator with HTS bulk magnet is presented. The generator has two rotors. Outer rotor is made of a copper shell and inner rotor consists of HTS bulk magnets. The outer rotor rotates at higher angular velocity than that of the rotating magnetic field generated by the stator but the inner rotor rotates in same angular velocity with the stator field. The induced armature voltage by BTS bulk magnets can compensate reactive armature currents, which improves the power factor of the generator close to unity. A 2KVA induction generator with permanent magnet in place of HTS bulk magnet is manufactured and tested. This has proved the advantages of the proposed generator.
