Effects of Bi3+ substitution for Nd3+ on microwave dielectric properties of Ca0.61(Nd1-xBix)0.26TiO3 ceramics

摘要
The effects of substituting Nd with Bi on microwave dielectric behaviors and structural features of Ca-0.61(Nd1-xBix)(0.26)TiO3 (0.05 <= x <= 0.3) ceramics were investigated. X-ray diffraction patterns illustrated that a distorted perovskite structure with a minor amount of the secondary phase TO2 was formed within the composition range of x= 0.05-0.1, while the content of TiO2 phase showed more obvious increase for the samples with 0.2 s x s 0.3. As compared with the microwave dielectric properties of pure Ca0.61Nd0.26TiO3 ceramics, Bi-substitution could enhance the dielectric constant (epsilon(r)) and quality factor (Qxf), even there was no increase in the temperature coefficient (tau(f)) for the Ca-0.61(Nd1-xBix)(0.26)TiO3 (0.05 <= x <= 0.1) ceramics.
