摘要：
This chapter reviews the biosecurity aspects of the major pathogens involved in neonatal calf enteric disease, the risk factors related to the spread of enteric pathogens in both beef and dairy calf operations, and the strategies to minimize risk factors associated with enteric pathogen exposure in beef and dairy calves. For the sake of comparison and continuity, coverage of enteric diseases of neonatal calves is limited to those major infectious agents that affect calves from birth to approximately 1 month of age.
