摘要
Voltages induced on an overhead line by nearby lightning strokes are simulated using the hybrid electromagnetic model. Physical and electrical patterns that are typical of first and subsequent negative strokes are considered in the simulations in order to assess which event causes the most severe induced voltage. The results indicate the event with patterns of the first return stroke as the one responsible for the largest induced voltage amplitudes.
