摘要：

Australian doctors have been spoilt for choice by the recent availability of 3 new blood pressure guidelines from the Australian National Heart Foundation (NHF), 1 the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association (ACC/AHA), 2 and most recently the European Society of Cardiology/European Society of Hypertension (ESC/ESH). 3 However, they have also been confronted by difficult choices because these guidelines do not agree on some fundamentals.
