Experimental densities (rho) and speeds of sound (u) were obtained for the ternary system (1-butanol + 1-chlorobutane + tetrahydrofuran) at three temperatures: 283.15, 298.15, and 313.15 K. Excess molar volumes (V-E) and isentropic compressibility deviations (Deltak(S)) have been calculated from experimental data. A discussion of the thermodynamic behavior of the ternary system with temperature variation is presented.
