摘要
In this paper, a new type of doubly-fed variable-speed salient-pole synchronous machine(DVSSM) is presented. The structure of the stator of this generator is identical with that of the conventional AC motor, which employs the fundamental frequency power supply. The structure of the rotor is splitting salient -pole, in which the excitation winding of the magnetic pole is supplied by the low frequency power supply of slip frequency. Based on the theory analysis on synchronous generator, the paper has studied AC excitation system with the variable frequency power supply and the automatic control generation system with variable speed constant frequency. Meanwhile, the prototype is accomplished for testing. The testing results and simulation results confirm the favorable operation characteristic of DVSSM.
