This paper defends a particular answer to the question about the adequate ideal of justice in the distribution of health care. It argues for two main ideas: 1) that egalitarianism is, in any of its versions, at least a problematic answer to this question: and 2) that a revised, idealized, version of sufficientism has a high chance to best answer this question.
