摘要
Different contributions to the resolution of the jet energy as reconstructed following the particle flow approach are being discussed. The achievable performance is studied for a variety of physics processes and compared with that of purely calorimetric methods, where the calibration procedure is found to play a crucial role. The status of reconstruction software is discussed, and first steps towards a detector optimization using fully simulated and reconstructed events are presented.
