摘要
The metabolic response to adaptive conditions is very important for cell survival. Eukaryotic cell metabolism is exposed to different types of signals derived from the changing environment, therefore cell must be regulate its' metabolism according to the altering conditions. Recent findings demonstrate that mRNA metabolism is one of the regulatory key which is very important in survival of the cell. DNA damage, chromosomal abnormalities, oncogene activation, bacterial infections, viral infections, various mutations possibly will trigger stress granules and processing body formation. These granules are defined as cytoplasmic RNA structures which have very ubiquitous function in mRNA translation and decay. Increase in cytosolic free Ca(2+) may have role in formation of cytosolic granules. These cellular granule formations may provoke cell death depending on the cellular conditions.
