摘要
In this article we briefly overview our recent results on non-linear dynamics of carbon nanotubes (CNT) with special emphasis on the solutions of special kinds-solitons. These solutions are derived analytically for both armchair and zigzag CNTs. and their high stability is supported in MD simulations. We advanced a hypothetical mechanism of soliton generation in CNTs by the action of shock compression, which has been confirmed by means of numerical simulation.
