摘要
The Power Control Division of GNB Technologies commissioned on the 13th May 1996 a new facility housing a 5 MW battery energy storage system (BESS) at GNB's Lead Recycling Center in Vernon, California. The Vernon BESS is the largest known installation of its hind in the would owned and operated by an industrial manufacturer to support critical manufacturing process equipment, including the operation of emission control systems associated with handling lead dust. GNB's primary concern is to assure the continual operation of these systems during a power outage.
