摘要：
A suspended stripline technique has been employed for realization of a 3-dB impedance transforming directional coupler. In order to assure sufficient shielding of one of the coupled conductors from the ground, a pair of standard 50 Ohm coaxial transmission line sections has been used. The presented concept has been verified by measurements of the designed impedance transforming directional coupler. The application of suspended line reduced the total losses of the manufactured coupler to 0.3 dB.
