Intracavity polarization spectrometer for the determination of trace concentrations of biomolecules in transparent liquids

摘要
An intracavity polarization spectrometer based on an argon laser with competing beams, which emits narrow lines in a spectral range from 275 to 529 nm, is designed to raise the sensitivity of the analysis of liquid-phase absorbents with broad absorption bands (primarily, biomolecules). The limit of detecting the concentration of absorbing centers is reduced to 10(-5) optical density units with an accuracy of measuring trace concentration of at least 20%. A wide dynamic range of analysis is ensured. The spectrometer is exposed to evaluation tests to determine trace concentrations of aminoacids in methanol.
