Synthesis and crystal structure of a sandwiched trinuclear complex [Tl2(18-crown-6)2Pt(CN)4]•2H2O

摘要
The trinuclear complex bis(18-crown-6)thallium tetracyanoplatinate [Tl-2(18-crown-6)(2)Pt(CN)(4)]center dot 2H(2)O was prepared and its structure was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The compound (C28H52N4O14PtTl2, M-r = 1272.57) crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P2(1)In with a = 10.5180(10), b = 8.6162(8), c = 21.118(2) angstrom, beta = 92.577(2)degrees, V = 1911.9(3) angstrom(3), Z = 2, D-c = 2.211 g/cm(3), F(000) 1200, mu = 12.123 mm(-1), R = 0.0181 and wR = 0.0427. The linearly arranged three metals are sandwiched by two 18-crown-6 molecules.
