New fluoride borate with 'anti-zeolite' structure: A possible link to Ba3(BO3)2

摘要
Crystal growth and structure solution of new Ba-3(BO3)(2-x)F-3x solid solution with x = 0.2 (Pbam, a = 13.60119 angstrom, b = 13.65014 angstrom, c = 14.87279 angstrom) were performed. The solved structure demonstrate an unusual for borates feature - the presence of [Ba-12(BO3)(6)](6+) cation pattern with channels filled by disordered anions. We identify the same cation pattern also in two recently described LiBa12(BO3)(7)F-4 and NaBa12(BO3)(7)F-4 borates, where additional (LiF4)(3-) and (NaF4)(3-) anionic clusters are situated inside the channels as well. The unit cell metrics of the new solid solution fits well that reported for Ba-3(BO3)(2) compound, indicating that the latter may represent the orthoborate end -member of Ba-3(BO3)(2-x)F-3x.
