Lipid Matrices Destabilization Induced by Some Newly Synthesized Pyridinium Salts

摘要
The influence of some newly synthesized pyridinium salts on the structural behavior of two lipid matrices formed with POPC or POPE was investigated by using SAXD. The structural impact / evolution of temperature scans were determined on samples prepared with different pyridinium salts / lipid helper molar ratio compositions, in water. In POPC based samples most complexes showed a strong sensitivity to the presence of pyridinium salts, mostly destructive of the long range order. A clear dependence of the structural behavior was correlated with pyridinium salt concentration. In POPE based samples the conformation of the hydrophobic part of such pyridinium salts seems to have a significant impact on the overall matrix structural behavior.
