摘要
Chemical composition gratings are used as strain or temperature sensing elements at high temperature. The temperature response and strain response of chemical composition gratings over a temperature range from 24 degrees C to 900 degrees C have been studied and discussed. Experimental results show that the temperature response curve is nonlinear over the whole temperature range and the wavelength shifts of chemical composition gratings are linear with applied tensile strain at a constant temperature.
