摘要
The title complex [Ni(pht)2(pn)2] was synthesized by hydrothermal methods and characterized by elemental analysis and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The interaction of the complex and sperm DNA was studied by UV absorption and (et)hidium bromide (EB) fluorescence spectroscopy. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/n with a =1.0065(10), b = 0.8817(9), c = 2.0701(2) nm, beta = 102.6(2)degrees, V = 1.7927(3) nm3,the final R1 = 0.0377 and wR2 = 0.0918. The result indicates that the maximal absorption intensity of this complex is weakened; at the same time, it can to some extent quench the emission intensity of EB-DNA system. Therefore, the authors come to a conclusion that the interaction of this complex and DNA is intercalation.
