Climate change projections indicate that not only are mean temperatures and rainfall likely to change over the current century but also their variability, In order to understand how mean and variability changes will impact on weed numbers we use sensitivity analysis of population models to predict the likely impacts of changing conditions on weed abundance, Three systems are explored: Chenopodium album in sugar beet rotations, Anisantha sterilis in winter wheat and Vulpia spp. in annual pastures.
