摘要
The objective is to analyze the role of the Research Centers, RC, in technology transfer, patenting and knowledge entrepreneurship. The analysis is made contrasting the Research Centers profiles with the technological entrepreneurship ' s demands. Thus, the profile of the research centers is obtained through the relative participation among its main products: publications, patents, technology transfer and entrepreneurship. Therefore, the main question is: what is the RC ' s profile required to obtain better results for Technology transfer and technological entrepreneurship? The proactive policies towards creating an entrepreneurial university and towards external links is compared in three national universities as an important factor for the support and creation of firms. In this context, the Research Centers oriented to the commercialization of technologies have better results if they are associated with its origin and its trajectory
