摘要：

The article focuses on the brief evaluation of the 15-year development of the Slovak individual family house by the cultural-spatial context. It analyses the basic moments of historical changes, the period "cult of the villa" and the subsequent "formation of mainstream" to the characteristics of the "suburban family house". In the second part, the article evaluates the "intelligence" of selected family houses in the context of the current demands of sustainable and efficient concepts.
