摘要
This research focuses on the development of a computational approach to the study of soil-pipeline interaction due to the development of discontinuous frost heave within a frozen soil region. The modelling of frost heave development within the soil is an important aspect in the computational treatment of the interaction problem. This paper deals with the calibration of a three-dimensional computational approach for the study of frost heave development, which takes into consideration the coupled effects of heat conduction and moisture migration. The results of one-dimensional frost heave tests are used to calibrate the computational approach. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
