摘要
SMT assembler is the most important and most complicated equipment in surface mounting lines. The computer control system, as the core of SMT Assembler, accelerates its renewal speed with the development of IT technology. It always happens that eliminations of entire equipment are coursed by failures of a tiny core component. In order to improve performance and reduce production cost of equipments, this article discusses ways of core subsystem updating by using resources of an obsolete SMT assembler. A Quad QSP-2 SMT assembler of Quad Systems Corporation is used as the reconstructed object, its hardware of control system has been changed, and the software has also been redesigned and debugged.
