A case of hypertension secondary to renal artery fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD), successfully treated by balloon angioplasty is presented to highlight that for this specific condition balloon angioplasty remains the treatment of choice. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
