摘要
The combination of warm-humid climates and building tightness pose a unique challenge in designing systems. Significant ventilation air quantities are necessary to maintain indoor air quality and meet code requirements, making it difficult to properly manage relative humidity. When internal building latent loads (such as high, density occupancy) are combined with the high latent loads of infiltration and code-required ventilation air in warm-humid climates, thermostatic control alone cannot maintain appropriate levels of relative humidity (RH).
