摘要：

Video surveillance has become commonplace in recent years. However, the features that have enabled the diffusion of closed circuit television (CCTV) have also facilitated the collection of information about an individual and increased the risk of misuse and abuse of surveillance data. To address these issues, the signal processing community can offer solutions such as traditional data encryption schemes and smart cameras.
