摘要
The United States can learn a great deal by examining the assessment systems of several high-achieving education systems: Two of the highest-achieving Scandinavian nations - Finland and Sweden - plus a group of English-speaking jurisdictions that have some shared approaches to assessment, as well as some interesting variations - Australia, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom. In particular, we can learn from how school-based assessments in those nations are linked to curriculum and integrated into the instructional process to shape and improve learning for students and teachers alike. © 2008, Linda Darling-Hammond.
