摘要
The main objective of this paper is to study university students' perception about teaching effectiveness, during 2020 confinement. Based on the general framework stablished by the ICALT-International Comparative Analysis of Learning and Teaching project, the research will focus on a theoretical model made up by six domains (safe learning climate, efficient classroom management, clarity of instruction, activating teaching, differentiation and teaching-learning strategies). The influence of all these factors on students' behavioral and emotional engagement will also be studied, trying to verify the existence of differences between Education degrees' students and all the others. 782 university students made up the sample. The instrument used to collect information was an adaptation to the Spanish university context of the My Teacher questionnaire (Van de Grift, 2007). Results suggest differences between the subjects of the first and second semester, and also in the evaluations carried out by the students of Education vs. other degrees. Among all teaching effectiveness domains, two are the most decisive due to their relationship with students' behavioral and emotional engagement: efficient classroom management and differentiation.
