摘要：

This work consists in evaluating ergonomic workstation-Swing Arm Cutting Machine (SACM) from a footwear industry. The evaluation method adopted was the methodology of RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) using the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ). There were identified critical factors related to posture of the operator arising from the SACM design and job requirements. From the results of the ergonomic evaluation were defined corrective and preventive measures to minimize the risks of exposure to musculoskeletal injuries.
