摘要
This paper proposes a bi-directional electric vehicle (EV) battery charger which operates in all four quadrants of P-Q (Active-Reactive Powers) plane. This charger is composed of full bridge AC-DC converter and bi-directional buck-boost DC-DC converter. It is designed to operate in both grid-to-vehicle (G2V) and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) modes. In addition to this, it is capable of exchanging reactive power with the grid simultaneously in both G2V and V2G modes. It is designed to operate with a single phase 230V, 50Hz mains installation. The simulation results validate the design and control of proposed charger.
