Technology foresight as a core competence

During the last decade, technology foresight as one of technology strategies has become a popular and fashionable concept. The post-war global competitive success of Japanese firms by using technology foresight has heavily influenced national technology foresight programmers in other countries. With China's entry to WTO, the rule of technology and the environment of Chinese firms will be changed a lot, more and more firms will pay attention to technology foresight. This paper concentrates on building a relationship between technology foresight and the core competence view of strategy.
