摘要
Catalytic biorefining: Beyond the deconstruction of plant biomass, emerging processes for catalytic biomass fractionation are directed towards rationally designing the properties of the isolated biomass components through and for catalysis. The full potential of catalysis in the conversion of the isolated fractions into chemicals and fuels can thus be exploited. © 2014 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
