摘要
Two new ellagitannins, named syzyginins A and B, were isolated from the leaves of clove (Syzygium aromaticum.). Syzyginin A was characterized as 1,2,3-tri-O-galloyl-4,6-(S)-tergalloyl-beta-D-glucopyranose. Syzyginin B was a novel hydrolysable tannin possessing a new aromatic acyl group, syzygyl, which has a dibenzo-1,4-dioxin structure probably derived from a tergalloyl group.
