摘要
The issues of strategic planning can be viewed from various angles ranging from a purely community approach to an approach based on project management. If we conceive strategic planning as a discipline also integrating other types of planning at the level of towns and municipalities, i.e. spatial and economic planning, we must, inter alia, think about ways of how to mutually integrate or at least coordinate these types of planning. Although spatial planning and economic planning are better laid down in our legislation, it is the strategic planning, which has the prerequisites to integrate the planning processes at the level of towns and municipalities. The set-up combination of the individual planning types and their time horizons suggests that there could be a theoretical model linking individual types of plans in their individual time horizons. The article will present this theoretical model of the planning process integration and its possible use in planning practice at the local level in the Czech Republic.
