The steel-bonded cemented carbide powder which being compacted by explosive compaction was bonded to carbon steel by lower-vacuum liquid phase sintering and element diffusing. The composite of TLMW50-carbon steel was obtained The composite process analyzed by SEM and EDS and electronic tensile test showed that the C or W from hard phase and the element from the metal powder diffused each other in the liquid phase vacuum sintering process at 1350 degrees C and a good composite condition was found, the interface bonding strength of TLMW50-carbon by electronic tensile tester was close to steel-bonded cemented carbide TLMW50's tensile strength.
