摘要
An irradiation test of typical insulating materials for an accelerator magnet was carried out, using actual radiation in the TRISTAN MR (main ring) which is operated at a quite high level of radiation. Physical and chemical degradations of the insulating materials due to irradiation were systematically studied. The radiation degradation effects on insulating materials and combinations of these as well as the influence of insulation manufacturing processes are discussed.
