摘要：

In this article, we address the question of exact controllability of the vibrations of three-dimensional elastic media which are thin in one direction. Apart from proving the existence of exact controls, we examine their asymptotic behaviour as thickness parameter goes to zero. We characterize the limit in terms of the solution of an exact controllability problem associated with the plate equation in two dimensions.
