摘要
The unit commitment is one of the most important problems in power system operation. Restructured power system operation is performed as a single area in most countries. In this environment, GENCOs compete in order to contribute in power market. Generation scheduling in a power system considers network security constraints and system's reliability indices. Hence, economic operation of the network is in the second preference. One of the methods to enhance the reliability of a power system is incorporating the adjacent units through lie-lines. In this paper, security constrained unit commitment problem of interconnected power systems is modeled and the results are evaluated using the IEEE 118-bus network.
