摘要
Replacement of Fe and Si by Ge in nanocrystalline Finemet type alloys leads to a decrease in coercivity but, at the same time, reduces the saturation magnetization. Looking for a better combination of the magnitudes of both parameters, partial substitution of Fe with Co was investigated. The system Fe71.5-xCoxSi9.5Ge6B9Nb3Cu1 (0 < x < 50) was studied with the aim of finding a stoichiometry that enhances the saturation magnetization while maintaining the desirable soft magnetic properties of the alloy. The magnetic measurement results and information about the structural characterization and the crystallization kinetics are reported. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
