摘要
Probabilistic hydrothermal scheduling considering the uncertain behavior of wind power has been proposed in this paper. The wind power generation mainly depends on the wind speed, which is uncertain in nature. To tackle the uncertainty related with wind energy, the 2m point estimate method is used. Finally, to handle the optimization part, a newly developed optimization algorithm called Salp Swarm Algorithm is used. This algorithm basically works on the behavior of Salps. A test system has been taken to justify the ability to solve problems as well as to examine the effect of wind energy in a hydrothermal system. To make the problem much more realistic the valve-point loading effect is considered too.
