Analysis of precipitate structure in a Cu-Ni-P alloy

摘要
In this study, the precipitates responsible for the age-hardening effect in Cu-0.89wt%Ni-0.22wt%P alloy were examined using TEM. The precipitates were rod-shaped Ni5P, with a hexagonal C22 crystal structure, and maximum growth directions parallel to 〈112〉m.
