摘要
A device is described for testing tubes by internal pressure at strain rates of 10(2) - 5 x 10(3) sec(-1); using this device, the circumferential yield strength and the failure pressure of materials can be determined. As an example, the loading oscillogram of a specimen made of Zr - 1% Nb alloy is given. At a strain rate of 7.8 x 10(2) sec(-1) the circumferential yield strength of the material tested was found to be 540 MPa.
